SEC2U – University of Lisbon

The main objective of the SEC2U events is to showcase the commitment of European universities to create a strong culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that is spreading in the university community. And as result transferring it to the society by creating startups and spinoffs with high added value, based on knowledge and technological development.

 

Entrepreneurship in Science – Why and how are we are trying to turn science into business

The activity we will  do is a presentation followed by a debate on how the FCUL is trying to promote and stimulate knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship among the community of students, researchers and teachers of different scientific fields.

*Business Project is an optional course of the 2nd semester in which students of integrated master and master programs can apply. The course is a partnership between FCUL and ISCTE Business School and has the objective of developing scientific projects in a business context through the formation of multidisciplinary teams of finance and science students.
