SEC2U – Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg

September 27, 2016

The SEC2U is an initiative to showcase the commitment of European universities to create a strong culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that is spreading in the university community. This culture transfers then to the society by creating startups and spinoffs with high added value, based on knowledge and technological development.

SEC2U is endorsed by the European Commission, having its first edition in 2016. It is aiming at creating a series of events all over Europe in the week from 17th to 21th of October 2016.

Within this scope the university Friedrich-Alexander is hosting a SEC2U event at JOSEPHS on October 21st from 6pm to 8pm, and invites entrepreneurs, students and curious minds to come and learn more about the European entrepreneurship landscape. The attendees will also participate in an interactive IoT workshop moderated by the local Franconian startup Tavendo. Then they will meet with the CEO of Zollhof, the new center for digital entrepreneurship in the Mittelfranken Region, to learn more about the mission and goals of this new local entrepreneurship player in Nuremberg. At the end of the event, the space will be offered for networking drinks.
